Well, I see that I still have ten followers! Thanks for not deleting yourselves from my list!
A quick heads up. I will be leaving for Ireland on April 3rd and returning on April 11th. It is a quick trip but there should be plenty happening. Keep your eyes peeled for more posts to come!

I'm reading your Ireland posts while sitting in a B&B in the Burren - our 2nd trip in 2 years from SoCal. Ireland and the Burren definitely draw you back. On your return visit, consider coming in May, during the Burren in Bloom. (http://www.burrenbeo.com/news-events/burren-news/apr-13-burren-bloom-festival) One of the events is the Dawn Chorus bird walk that might interest you. Even though we're biologists (botanist and ecologist/writer), animal life isn't obvious and at times seems non-existent. Except the cuckoo. When that bird starts its call, it won't shut up.

Marianne, thank you so much for taking the time to read and comment. The Burren was mind boggling to me, and I felt a little silly that I had traveled all that way only to stumble across it and with no prior knowledge. Thanks for the heads up on the "Burren in Bloom" event. I will most definitely time my next visit to allow me to take that in.
